Nobody’s saying you have the right to assault them. They’re saying it is morally good to do so (which is true). Learn the difference.

You’re absolutely right: keyboard second-guessing is bullshit.

Off-topic, but “no fist fucking thing” is an amazing phrase. Thank you for introducing it to me.

How about you go talk to your “pretty much every minority you can think of” friends and recount what you’ve done here today, and report back on how they reacted? Because I’m gonna bet it won’t go over that well.

“I’m not condoning racism. I’m just saying people grieve in their own way.”

Maybe don’t tell people who disagree with you that they’re crazy. Then people will listen to what you have to say instead of yawning.

Well, logically everyone has to have a best work. No shame in the fact that he’s accomplished his.

Well, no. Black people don’t blame white people for “keeping them down,” and saying that Black people pointing out systemic oppression is synonymous with white people being racist or “victim mentality” is showing a profound ignorance of history and current reality.

Wow, really reaching for that “but white men are the *real* victims of discrimination” talking point, aren’t you?

It wasn’t a rebuttal. It was a request.

Why, though? Its success doesn’t affect you in any way. What on earth could it matter to you?

Wow, racist much?

To hard to... what? I never understand this critique.

“Why aren’t women who have dealt with a huge violation stronger? After all, if I’d been put in this situation, here’s what *I* would have done!”

Huh, so you’re racist as well as sexist. Good to know.

Do me a favor and tell all those women whose presence in your life you’ve used to excuse your opinions - tell all of those women what you just typed out. And see if they trust you ever again.

What an odd logical fallacy. Andrews made it very clear to Oprah that she had to give that interview somewhere - by giving Andrews a safe space on her show, Oprah actually did the right thing.
