They didn’t run out of people. Jeb just kinda waffled too much early on and then decided to half heartedly run. Rubio never really had the experience needed, but was next up in line.

No message? Republicans have had the same message for damn near 40 years. Cut taxes, cut government regulation on businesses, increase military spending. They then added repeal and replace “obamacare” to the list (which is really a subset of the previous message).

The next election really only three issues matter:

Supposedly he’s big into red wine...

I imagine he’s been pretty bipolar since he said “screw this I’m going home”. On the one hand hes probably glad hes not dealing with ultra conservatives and certain Senators sticking their nose into House business. On the other hand the man is, and has been, a staunch Republican and it has got to be hard to watch this

It won’t be forgotten, and they will be treated as heroes by the people that vote for them because they took a “principled stand” against a weak establishment “obamacare light”.

I don’t think anyone expected Lee or Moran to outflank Cruz to the right. I mean Paul makes sense, cause he’s crazy and that’s why his constituents love him. Those two generally seem to follow Cruz’s lead.

But the argument by Republicans that they don’t want to spend taxpayer dollars on abortions is based on faulty logic from an economic viewpoint, too.

That’s the other possibility, but I’m hoping that’s not the case. Relying on Stark tech for basic abilities just seems... wrong?

Th weirder thing was he does seem to have it at times during his fight scenes (like on the ferry), but other times he gets completely blindsided. Almost makes me wonder if they’re trying to do a thing where he hasn’t completely grown into all his powers yet.

Best part of that was the “I’m pretty sure this guy’s a war criminal now, but whatever, I’m obligated by the state to show these tapes.” Such an accurate portrayal of the gym teacher mentality.

They’ve moved Tony beyond selfish man child for the most part by this point. He’s been trying to be a responsible adult for a few movies now I believe, and that was a large part of Civil War.

Vulture turning bad seemed pretty cliche to me TBH. Industrious entrepreneurial working man manages to land a huge city contract salvaging wreckage of NYC space invasion. To land this contract he went into debt way over his head and then is quickly screwed (again) by big corporations (Stark Industries) and big

Prom Night is number three. The sequel clearly needs to be Spider Man Sadie Hawkins Dance and have a female villain.

Is Zack Snyder already confirmed as the director?

On the one hand you’re right, he has nothing to lose politically as it’s unlikely he’ll ever run for public office again. In the other hand it clearly gets under his skin when people tell him to fuck off because he’s used to being the bully and thinks he’s above that.

It is good through the 11th at 11:59pm PST.

Great for the election if you were happy with the status quo, yes. Either way terrible campaign.

I don’t even think single-payer is the next logical step. The next logical step would be, as you mentioned, a public option. Over time it will ramp up on its own (as insurance companies have repeatedly said they can’t compete against the government in the market long term) and phase out private insurance due to

It’ll get passed sooner rather than later. Just couldn’t reach the right carve outs and the figures are too fresh off the presses to pass this week. They won’t bother to get a CBO score next time around as “they’re just going to tweak things, but the numbers will work out better, trust them”.
