I had my kid at age 13

Please elaborate on a “full sized American”.

Just get the dish brush you use to clean the cheese grater, you’ll be fine.

So its a Kamper? Love everything about it, and its the perfect size!

Rare earth metals aren’t exclusive to foreign countries, we actually have an abundance here in the US. The difference is that we haven’t created a mechanism to mine it because its so much cheaper to get it from other places. If we needed to mine here, it would be expensive in the beginning, but once we get it

I kind of love these, sorry - not sorry.

There’s some seriously bad takes here.

My local Chevy dealer did just that, seems to be working out fine. Although, GM in their infinite wisdom, required 24kw “fast chargers” made by Bosch, which are almost useless unless you want to hang out at a dealership for 2 hours.

I just assumed the entire globe is facing the same supply chain shortages, which is the basis of the spikes in price, not irrational thinking. Its just supply/demand, econ 101.

Jokes on the owner, he could have just sold the car private party and gotten more than he paid in this drunk used car market.

You’re not wrong, but it wont be a mass market mainstream car by any means. ICE will only be reserved for niche segments like sports cars and HD trucks, bookmark that and put it in your back pocket.

Same with Jeep groups. I love going on the rides, but generally the conversations are lacking. Dont get me starting with trying to camp next to them, its all about big hair music cranked up all night while they get drunk (not the fun kind) near the camp fire till 2am talking about owning the Libs.

Price parody is coming soon, the Blazer EV will start at $30k (out next year). As much as I hate GM, their EVs are good.

I completely agree, but also recognize that most cars will be EV. I think I misunderstood the OP’s post, but my point was that all those dragging their feet adopting EVs wont have much of a vehicle choice and mass adoption is coming very soon, whether they like it or not.

Sure, give that a try in 15 years when 19 out of 20 cars sold are EVs, and the rest are heavy duty trucks and high end sports cars.

Charge at home, or don’t own an EV”.

DCFC is strictly for road trips, most others charge at home 99% of the time. There are a few apartment dwellers who use DCDC year-round, but those folks are rare.

I just got back from Steamboat Springs, Co., on a ski trip, and let me tell you.. the gondolas are amazing. They’re incredibly efficient at moving lots of people in a short period of time over relatively long distances. They next stop moving, so you get on/off while in motion, and they quickly speed up to what seems

His truck was red, but his pants were brown.

Because be probably didn’t have full coverage.. and also, this is WAY quicker/easier than going through litigation. Props to him for finding a way. This is America, and GoFundMe is the most American way to handle this situation. No one was misled, whats the problem? If folks want to help out, whats it to you?

He probably had minimum insurance, but given the year of the vehicle it was most likely not full coverage. I dont fault the Subbie driver one bit, if some jackass makes a high profile dick move that puts you out, cash in while you can. Given the publicity, I’m sure he’ll come out what ahead.
