You’re 90% correct, but dont underestimate the premium some pay for the better driving experience of an EV. Its not just about MPG anymore. EVs haul ass, are silent, and you never have to stop for a fill-up in the rain before work in the dark. Also, less planet-killing.

Have you ever towed kids on a bike? There’s nowhere to store goldfish crackers and beef sticks.

I have 6 friends with F-150s and Silverados. and guess what? One of them takes a boat about 12 miles to the river and the rest don’t tow a damn thing besides their ass to the office and their kids to soccer practice. The rest bought a truck for the hypothetical boat purchase down the road, and the mulch on Saturdays.

Heated seats are mandatory in EVs, it helps you conserve heat in the cabin (saving range). If you live in cold climates and garage your vehicles, you’ll finally be able to preheat your truck without the carbon monoxide. You could always add heated seats afterwards for cheap..

Not a deal breaker.. Extended or super cab + 4WD + AC + heated seats + 230 miles for $39k - $7500 tax credit is a no brainer. I’d even take manual windows, lol.

AWD would have been the only reason to get CUV over regular version.. And yes, some people actually need AWD. Without AWD, I fail to see the point of this slightly larger CUV.

Fun fact: The trunk is somehow smaller on the CUV. They moved the seats back, and took up a little trunk space (facepalm)
