And Premier package, so if you want the bells you need CUV. Lame.

Are you 7' tall? I’m 6' and there’s plenty of room, like the same as the Blazer I rented a few weeks ago. We did a back to back comparison, and its pretty close.

Nope, try $21k. I’m seeing $18k off sticker marked on many dealership websites nationwide.

Nope, they have a decent $21k EV... The amount of money on the hood is bananas. Its seriously the best deal in the automotive industry right now, with every other car selling at 10% ABOVE sticker.

The regular Bolt already has a heightened seating position from the batteries being underneath, much like a compact crossover. The new CUV just gives you a tiny more room, and slightly more upright. Looks pretty minimal, but I haven’t sat in one obviously.

As a former owner, all I see is a more expensive package, and

What gas shortage (or energy crisis of the week)?

What gas shortage?

The thing is, they already make wonderful noises as is. Are they just referring to pedestrian sounds (which are mandated by law)? The normal EV motor noises are perfect, maybe give an option to mic them up a little for performance cars? IDK, silence with a subtle motor whine is kind of blissful.

I thought I’d never listen to Car Talk again after Tom died. I’m surprised at how relevant the show is when I podcast it, and how much I still enjoy leaving it on in the background on a Sunday morning.

I think the major tie is that the cars they reference are the one’s I’m still buying and working on (90s-00s). This

Wow, thats very... specific.

On German cars, the high beams too.

That sounds terrible. Initially, all dealers told me to pound sand when I asked about a loaner car. Luckily GM held their feet to the fire and made them comply. No loaners were available so I got to pick any car off Enterprise’s lot with gas included. I drove a ‘21 Blazer with v6 cross country and it was kind of

Correct, thanks for clarifying. We dont really know for sure if the interim fix does anything to prevent fires. I’m curious if this fire had the interim patch or not. The final fix is a diagnostic that goes through your battery and tells you if your battery is truly at risk, and needs replacement, along with getting

You missed the point. Hilltop reserve is the same thing, leaving a 10% reduction on the top end. Its actually 88% and the official GM interim update is only 90%, so technically the hilltop reserve mode is safer as opposed to the software update.

17-18 cant get them done until end of May, in a bizarre decision the recent recall for the final fix is only for ‘19s. Your only set of options for 17-18 is to set your charge level to “hilltop reserve” (which sounds like a nice wine) or do the dealer installed interim fix.

Straight from GM, they’ve confirmed that the

Best: GTR

Its the lead photo of a story with a giant “Chrysler” font on the side. I mean, how do you fuck that up while choosing photos? I’ve been on the copy desk, its not that hard.

Also, whats a git?

Can you give any context to your callsign? Is the $ pronouced as “S”? What does it reference? I just cant get past it any longer, and I’m irrationally intrigued.

Why does Jalopnik keep calling this a “weird” recall? It seems very straight forward, and GM isn’t the first EV maker to have this problem.
