Every warm climate has cold mornings. I grew up in Southern California and spent many mornings in the inland desert where its freezing first thing, then warms up dramatically. All parts of the south, even Florida, have cold mornings in the “winter”.

I’m actually cross shopping a few of these and do care about minor off-roading capability. I’m trying to decide if I should buy a cheap higher mileage older early 2010s or newer, more expensive ‘18-20. Very helpful.

I know everyone who wasn’t actually alive to use popup headlights love them, but if you get an NB/NC you can get way more car for the money and far fewer miles. NA prices are high.
