So I’m buying this crate setup for $10k min, then another $4-5k min for batteries, and I still dont have any thermal management for the batteries. There’s a shit load of engineering that needs to take place to control charging, regen, cooling/heating, ect, otherwise the batteries wont last.

Im sure the BMW i3, Honda Element, Toyota FJ Cruiser all have the same configuration to keep costs down, not because it couldn’t be done. I think all have the same (open front first) and seat belt…
