I appreciate that the limits you set, but I was mostly talking about the concept of affordability via the headline’s monthly payment. Yes, you’re probably right about getting more eyeballs, but at the cost of some eye rolling.

Please dont talk about car prices in terms of monthly payment, people already make terrible financial decisions based on monthly payments without perpetuating the mindset.

You can get your monthly payment down under $400 on just about anything if you stretch the terms out, and jack up the interest rate/get screwed

If you end an obviously sarcastic response with s/ does the double negative make it serious?

I didn’t say it was intentional.

I was thinking modern Malibu, but now I see the Grandma.

Aside from the grill and headlights, I’m getting strong GM vibes from the 3/4 angle, if you can imagine this as a sedan. Its mostly in the rear side glass and character creases/belt line. Am I wrong?

If you accelerate quickly through a crowd, you must expect no other outcome but injury.

Car 1 chose to slowly drive through the crowd, and were making progress.

Or they could have put the car in REVERSE. You always have a choice.

Is this thing legal to drive on the road? If so, how does it get away with lack of safety equipment? How does it get around 25 year import rule? Is this just an expensive thought experiment that will be for “off road use only”?

Sorry if this was addressed elsewhere, but I didn’t see any mention.

Nah, mine isn’t rusty enough.

Is that an NA? Those seats are amazing, nice find!

I would buy it, just to liberate it from the drab museum life that surely awaits, and drive the shit out of it daily.

Glass houses, Mr. Go Fuck Itself ;)

File this under: Fuckin’ rich people.

Yard staff taking PPE seriously. All the uniformed yard employees I saw were wearing gloves and masks.

My last house had a 1916 garage built on stilts into the hillside, with plywood floors and barn doors. I didn’t dare park anything in it for fear of falling through the floor.

At least you would have continuity, which is whats lacking in your first scenario.

Depends on the use/user. My Sony A9s are 9-5 tools, but if I had a Leica it would most definitely be a toy for playtime, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Sorry, I dont think I read the last sentence and at risk of talking to a 20 year old, I cant emphasize it enough. My occupation forced me to view lots of street meet, and it’s really gross.
