But the antivaxer-moms on Facebook told me the virus isn’t real, just 5G. You’re all overreacting.

I’ve noticed a lot of these “fun” surveys often ask you year of birth, and I just wonder...

Please tell me aftermarket makes a removable hard top that looks like a Targa. This might be kind of an amazing weekend car, NP! Not thrilled with the grey interior, but at least its not red.

From what I recall, you dont want one of these with low miles or one that’s sat for a while. Whatever it was that grenades the engine (someone chime in, haven’t had coffee yet) this 911 is better when driven daily.

The car or Debbie?

Dont worry, it’ll be mid-pack for sales figures very soon as nothing will be selling well in the near future.

100% agree on the Cooper, the seats go back until they’re resting against the back seats. I’m 6' and I can stretch my feet and not even touch the pedals, its incredible. Decent turning radius.

Second choice wont work for everyone: BMW i3. The turning radius is mind-bending. I’ve yet to meet a street I couldn’t do a

But if that person buys an EV because they have solar you could also add the gas savings.

Looks good, but man I got dizzy towards the end. Its a nice trick, but when I was in film school I was taught to leave gimmicks behind because its distracting from the actual content. I did, however, study documentary film which is a different animal, but I would hate if everyone was distracted from the beautiful

I think think it was 20% over 3 years now that I recall, but only because they couldn’t get 30% in 5 years approved. They’re greedy little bastards.

I anticipate when I’m going to be downtown for dinner and wont top off the day before, leaving room for free electrons. I’m cheap, what can I say?

Gotcha, makes sense. I think annual electricity rate increases (I’ve been hit with two 10% increases in the last 3 years) should negate the time value of money, and further bring down ROI. Your property value also goes up by ~75% of what you paid before rebates, even after you reap the benefits and break even.

I’m with you, no clients for the foreseeable future as a commercial photographer. No one wants to spend money on advertising, nor do they want anyone in the office.

That stuff I mentioned about restaurants and bars? Yeah, scrap that.

I would be hesitant to install unless I knew I was staying for at least 10-15 years. You will increase your property value, so you’ll get most of it back, however it seems like a lot of work to just walk away from.

You dont have to guess, its simple math. $1.85/watt. You’ll need ~3-4kw system. $7400 total (minus fed incentive 30%) = $5180. I left out state incentives because they’re all different, but that is ~15% on average, which brings you to ~$4k.

We have net metering in Iowa. You get credits for overproduction, and get it back in the winter.

You forgot to mention your employer, but you’re 100% correct. They’re mostly useful in emergencies. If you’re already going to be at the location (grocery store, pub, restaurant) then its just gravy. Some date nights out I can get 3-4 hours of charge from dinner/drinks/walking downtown.

“Personally, I’d love to have one dropped off at my house. ... I’m not sure they’re deploying residential units quite yet, but color me interested when they are.”

It doesn’t have to be runny. Wipe on/off.
