Pretty sure it's all of the aerobics.

I completely agree, and I wanted to just add that I, too, saw Robert as having an arrogant undertone. But it makes total sense if think of it this way — he was seen as a white, straight-identified, upper-class man. To all outside appearances, he was the pinnacle of American privilege, and arrogance is a part of…
I love Petra. She's a funny villain. And I love funny people. And villains. For me it's all about the narrator, Rogelio, and Petra.
I mentioned this on the first page, too. I remember that commercial/preview so well, and when I saw the movie, I kept waiting and waiting for it. Always made me really sad. I loved the delivery of that line.
"Vaughn, a juvenile delinquent in the off-season, in his major league debut."
Major League is an institution in my household. My dad is a lifelong Indians fan, and it is something we watched a million times… Always made me sad, though, that the "Yellowstone" line was cut from the movie. I remembered it from the trailer/commercial and always thought it was funny.
You are the circus, I am the freak. Aah!
The mere mention of Bleeding Love makes me miss Mark so much. I really hope he'll be back as an All-Star.

I had tivoed this episode, and I swear to you, I watched it every single night for about 2 months. I *still* "Fuck your couch" on a regular basis, and anytime I hand something to my boyfriend, I say, "Hold my drink, bitch." It is beyond classic. Probably my all-time favorite sketch.

God yes, Mark is my favorite, too. I *love* him and would be so thrilled to see him return.

I first read S.E. Hinton's "The Outsiders" when I was 10, and I read it again every year until I was well into my twenties. I love "His Dark Materials," too, but I read that as an adult. As a kid, nothing compared to The Outsiders until I discovered Vonnegut.

He was also the REAL Gusto in CB4. I almost fell out of my chair when rewatching it after Chappelle's Show.
