Super misleading / clickbait-y headline. It implies that Valve has claimed the practice of putting the game on a platform that is not their own is inherently unfair; in reality, they are just apologizing to customers who will now be forced to download an additional platform to play the game they had originally

The exact quote from Valve is that it’s “unfair to Steam customers”. The head line just says “Valve Says It’s ‘Unfair’”. Now read the number of comments that take the headline at face value and assume that Valve is talking about themselves, and ask yourself if the headline is misleading or not.

The GI interview that’s linked in this article explains that in more detail which shows that the fact these two players couldn’t see each other doesn’t contradict what they’ve said about the game.

I’ve discovered what’s wrong with gaming these days. It’s you.

Purposefully not telling the truth about this and just not being able to implement it/it not working correctly are two completely different things.

The game obviously wasn’t complete yet. I’m sure he thought it was a feature they could manage, but it didn’t make the cut. Seeing other players in the world is a major feature in the code so it’s not entirely surprising to cut something that would take a ton of engineering and most players would never see.

“It’s more situational...”

Then maybe letting people know how these situation works would keep them from complaining. The way they’re speaking it seems like it IS a useless stat and they just don’t want to acknowledge. I understand they’re known for being cryptic, but there has to be a point where letting people know

Considering all of Pewdiepie’s recent press about struggling with the rudeness of people on Youtube/his viewers/etc... you’d think he could come up with a more constructive way to criticize a game he didn’t like.

There’s an opinion, then there’s being rude and petty. Like MikeZero54 said, giving the middle finger to the developer is petty. He can have an opinion when he grows up.

Also the middle finger to the developer thing sounds really petty and fucked up.

When one of the biggest youtube stars is calling your game shit, when it clearly isn’t, you’ve all the right to whine about it. Obviously if he’s that popular people are going to take his word for it and state the game is shit without even playing it. It’s down to PewDiePie to grow up and act like an adult. Not rip on

Maybe you missed the part where it was 78% positively reviewed on steam. If that’s shit to you, you must make some incredible games.

Maybe PewDiePie should review his own shit game that was worse.
