A major computer manufacturer I worked for years ago let go a software engineer. He cleared out his desk, but stuck a sign on a busted up laptop that said “DO NOT SHUTDOWN”. We figured he had a good reason to put the sign there, so we left it alone. There were several old laptops and desktops around the office with

By that logic, is the Toyota Camry absolutely amazing?

Are you confusing Trackhawk with Trailhawk?

Correct - and it’s glorious

In all fairness, they are going to offer a plug-in hybrid version (“4xe”) in every Jeep by 2025.

That they can sell all of a one year, limited edition doesn’t mean the can continue to sell said car going forward. This thing has a pretty low ceiling on demand, even if it’s apparently higher than 2k. And as someone said, they’re going to be somewhat limited by emissions credits.

I sold both of my cars with airbrush parts rather quickly.

Because if you rattle can your license plate number for $4, you get exactly what you paid for?

This is why we don’t see the same here.....

Because no one is going to remember seeing a rattle can painted license plate number if it drives by, esp. if it was a common strategy. This isn’t about verifying ownership, it’s about making the car conspicuous and so making it a less attractive target.

Because it's a justification, not a reason. Kind of like the distinction between need and want.

Holy shit she’s amazing. That artwork is seriously impressive.

Honestly though, it’s kinda ingenious.
