100%?

People! people! Do you realize that cooling the oceans and lowering the mean sea level is actually much worse for corals than warming?

Mean sea level has been falling at the GBR for the past 500 years. When the water is to shallow coral dies due to the exposure during low tide.

There is no correlation between CO2 concentrations and temperature.

Everyone cares about pollution. Find me someone who doesn’t. CO2 as a pollutant, that’s where I start to have problems. Its a trace gas, vital to the earth’s life cycle, with no *proven* ability to influence temperature. They pump the stuff intro greenhouses to stimulate plant growth for heaven’s sake. More CO2=more

No it doesn’t. The same corals as the GBR also live in New Guinea. The water is much warmer, and they’re thriving, and growing faster.

LOL.

“70 miles off the Russian Shoreline”....How do you know where they were?

We do differ, lol. For me the one-car-at-a-time qualy had the same kind of television presence as say, golf. But Im remembering from a long time ago.

Just..wow. Any other Wax Trax! releases in your collection?

But qualy is such a key element in the race-to-race “story” that defines the season: post-race chatter, interim chatter, rumors and development news, practice (hopes and hint at what’s to come), qualy (suspense, and partial proof of whose advanced and who has not) and the race—the culmination.

It was botched because they made the change to get more fans. Gaining new fans with changes like this is a fantasy. Only current fans can bring new audiences.

Im getting the impression that the FIAs attempts to make the racing “better” —and attract new audiences— assume new fans and followers come into the sport by hearing something, and deciding to watch on their own.

Chicago—what a city...

In the realm of car fan content, there is a continuum which runs from interesting/clever stunts, challenges and vignettes, to classic moronic behavior, antics, hijinx...(lol)

I said, “fine cars.”

Uh. Lol-no.

Can we please distinguish between “use” versus “abuse?” Abusing fine cars is cheap trick that real car enthusiasts shouldn’t fall for.

Thank you for posting this. While watching the heads of state and their motorcades, I found the sentries moves and protocols far more fascinating and wanted to learn more.
