Luckily, if Sea of Thieves holds true, the timed content will be moved to the in game black market eventually. They have timed windows on items in the game, but ultimately you get another chance to grab them.

To be fair that has always been the model in Sea of Thieves. Earning anything requires a good bit of work, even more so if playing alone.

I honestly don’t get the appeal of Fortnite, but more power to them. Just don’t pull that Star Wars bullshit again and we’re good.
