WHAT in the everloving FUCK is this FUCKING show?!?!
That's gonna be embarrassing if it ends up worse than Alien 3…
So American Sniper killed Selma.
I'm off to shoot myself…
like… AD&D vs. Remedial Chaos Theory: FIGHT!
A list of episodes for each sitcom would be much more fun to argue about, just sayin'.
I'm gonna pretend "just okay" was sarcasm
Well since race was a concept invented by colonialists, I see no reason why Rowling can't invent anti-muggle racism.
I think you underestimate the amount of bad people in the world with similarities to Hitler, he wasn't fictional, y'know. I mean, aren't Death Eaters basically the KKK?
Wait, am I missing something, or has nobody mentioned Masters of Sex yet? I don't remember it being on the list…
Most of the criticism was focused on narrative choices towards the end.
Personally I had no problem with it, the season had more of a 3-act novelistic structure rather than a traditional TV structure, which I really enjoyed for a change.
people also forget that the Yellow King was also total pulp, as was pretty much all horror and detective stories pre-70s.
True Detective aped pretty much everything about pulp fiction in an A-grade format.
Hannibal is in no danger of cancellation FYI, it would still be produced even if NBC stopped airing it, the production company (I forget the name of it) is footing pretty much the entire bill and NBC needs to fill the hours with cheaply-bought content.
Fingers crossed that Netflix will pick it up off the back of the American remake
jesus christ, never show Peaky Blinders to kids, they might get ideas (the second season even dealt with themes of romanticism of gangsters)
Special mention: Broad City
British special mention (because the internet exists): Utopia
1. True Detective
2. Fargo
3. Hannibal
Great list, more than half of these are in my top 20
I do a list (just to show any old schmuck can do these lists) and Ana Tijoux is on it
hyperbole, it makes people actually think twice rather than keeping merrily on the lazy path of ignorance. doesn't always work but it means i can keep my sense of humor.
