Apparently, Dylan chided Fogerty back stage, saying “If you don’t sing these tunes, the world’s going to remember Proud Mary as a Tina Turner song.”

Been a fan of them since Beauty and The Beat. At the time I’d read about their punk roots but I certainly hear it in the songs. A couple of years ago, however, I heard the Stiff Records version of my favorite song from that first LP, “How Much More”. It’s a much rougher, punk version that I love.

20 years ago? I’m thinking 7 or 8.

Loved him in practically everything but my favorite role of his was in F/X.

I’ve known him primarily from his many appearances on game shows, especially his semi-regular appearances on the 70s era Match Game.  That he reached 91 only to die by getting hit by a car is both shocking and very sad.

Tiffany Haddish is in demand because of her standup and movie successes the last two years. She’ll be getting paid regardless of this suit because she’s a hot property.

Well, this is a new one on me.  I have never tipped a stadium vendor, never thought to do so, and have never seen anyone on my rows or in my company make a habit of it.  Is this a regional thing?

I’m waiting for Die Fledermaus to show up.

I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do

I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do

I still unapologetically love that song.

Lots of Outkast. Especially from the ATLiens album.

Why has no one thrown money at Geno Auriemma?

Yeah, that was certainly an exaggeration. He was 7 feet probably at his tallest.

My God; there’s another person who remembers The Corner Bar! And yes, the next summer, when Gabe Dell was replaced, it was no longer funny.

Seeing this post immediately made me think of Blair Underwood’s Black Hiker Funny Or Die video from 2009:
