I don’t understand why Audi can’t fit all that stuff under the hood like every other car company. Instead they put the computers under the seats and in the trunk under the spare.

I was more thinking of complete vaporization of the surrounding rock ( a really big nuke, buried really deep). I also figured the radiation would only hang around for 50 years or so, but forgot about it being a sealed space.

If you were hitting 80 (I’m assuming celcius) then it was either an undersized heatsink, or too much/too little thermal paste (or too much overclock for a stock heatsink)

I remember the first Voodoo card, it wasn’t even a full video card, it only did 3D, and required the use of a standard 2D card and a pass-through cable.
