As noted in my previous post - my shop is located in 48207 (a Detroit zip-code, you'd know that if you were from around here). I'm not a big shop but I do employ another person who lives in Detroit, so I guess I created a job. Also, as Aaron pointed out almost immediately, I'm part of the 20% minority.

Regardless of your intentions - when you refer to these people as "white-guy change makers" you're making it a matter of race, and you're also being racist.
