One time I posted a comment promoting the idea of driverless cars on Jalopnik, and the commenters took me to town. Apparently they think that it's an evil idea because they're driving enthusiasts.

Ah, now I understand. I don't think it's something that's a problem. Or at least, I've never heard of someone with brown eyes being less prone to UV radiation damage than someone with blue eyes.

Yes, which is why almost all babies' eyes are blue when they're born, and then change to whatever color they will within the first year. My guess, however, is that your body only produces so much melanogenic (not sure if that's technically a word, but I'm gonna use it!) proteins in the eyes, so after a certain age if

Not necessarily. Eye color does not have a true dominant strain. Brown is MORE dominant than any other, but two blue eyed people can have a brown-eyed child. It's a low chance of happening - probably less than 10% (I'm just pulling that out of my ass as I have no idea what the exact dominance of brown vs blue is), but

Mayhaps you had a bit too much Whiskey whilst writing this?

I've been thinking the same thing for months. That, and a continuous play button, so I don't have to select a new program. Sometimes, I like to just let the TV play and only half pay attention. When I have to come away from whatever I'm actually paying attention to just to hit play again, I get a little annoyed.

Uh...No, it's not: [gs.statcounter.com]#os-ww-monthly-200910-201110 . I thought you guys even ran a story about it, but maybe I read it elsewhere.

Yeah, I was a little confused by that too. Even plywood is used to make something lighter and cheaper, not necessarily stronger.

I wonder if that's why mine was so fast the other day. I was getting near 3MBps, whereas in the past getting 1MBps was fast. And really, 3 is pretty insane since that's 18Mbps, which I'm only supposed to get in bursts.

Did you actually read the post he wrote about Google? It was not talking shit. Not unless me telling my roommates that we have to clean the house because it's a mess is talking shit. Followed by saying that I really do love living here or else I wouldn't take the time to talk about how we need to clean the house.

It's true. On Lifehacker's article the other day, most of the features they outlined how to get now, I've been using for weeks to months in CM7 - weeks because a few of them are new in 7.1. Still, I want the polish and the GPU acceleration. Can't wait for it to hit AOSP so that Team Douche can get to work!

You're right, I HAVEN'T used that many smart phones. Except I used to work for a company that was MAKING a smart phone (Saygus, if you're curious). But, no, we never used other smart phones.

Oh my God...for reals, Giz? FOR REALS?

You just laid a verbal smackdown on their ass. Good for you.

So...if your argument is based on sales numbers? Uh, yeah, Android wins by a landslide. Android owns a 40%+ market share. They are the dominant player. If your argument is usability, that's fine. Make that argument. I disagree, but go ahead and make it. As far as sales? Ha. Right.

I'm not sure if you're trolling or just had a couple of really shitty phones. I've owned something like 4 Android phones (G1, Droid, LG Ally, G2), and I know tons of people who have them as well. On none of those handsets that I've owned did I have to do a battery pull - except when I did something stupid, but that's

And there will be semen everywhere!

Did ya miss the part where I said (percentage-wise)? I'm aware of that. I wasn't pointing out anything about Apple, I was pointing out the coinciding articles - either an interesting coincidence, or something about Gizmodo. Not Apple.

Neat, thanks for the info. And I'm aware that the percentage would naturally go down unless you increased it as your sales went up. I was merely asking about the coinciding timing of articles involving R&D.

Coincidence that this and the other MR article come up on the same day as the article talking about how little (percentage-wise) Apple spends on R&D? Whether or not it was intentional, I find it interesting nonetheless.
