Yeah, and you know what? I try to get my eyes close enough to my Droid to see pixels and they go cross-eyed and blurry too! It's almost like 250ppi is more than sufficient to remove visible pixelation! Holy crap!

@Malfunktion v2: So you're complaining because Moto innovates at a faster pace? Are you also going to be mad when the Droid 2 comes out next month? Or when Moto's 2GHz phone that Sanjay Jha was talking up comes out before the end of the year?

Combine this with that Golden Shellback thingamajig and run with it!

@Malfunktion v2: Um…they did the same thing AT&T did. They authorized early upgrade for anyone getting an upgrade this year. As much as I'd love to be able to get a massive discount on this phone (original Droid owner), I know that I can't. Stop complaining that they're not throwing away (more - Moto loses around 20

@bios: It's not for home media consumption. It's for media consumption while on the go, when you don't have your laptop or your nice big HDTV.

@driggity: Close, but no cigar. One is for video, not speakerphone. I believe speakerphone can use the regular phone mic, or maybe use the NC mic.

@webdevmike: This isn't necessarily the Froyo that will hit your phone. This is just Froyo (finally) hitting the open source tree. What that means is that now all of the hackers can release hacked Froyo ROMS without having to dig through pre-compiled ROMS. (read: Cyanogenmod 6)

Huh? It's only over WiFi. Of course it's not going to eat up carrier minutes…

I figured it was more because gun nuts mostly seem to think global warming et al is a myth, so you trick them into buying solar panels by giving them a gun…

@atkailash: That goose had me laughing my ass off. I have to wonder if they intended it for it to be there, or if it was just, ya know…haaaangin out.

You know, there are other open standards out there besides FaceTime. Just sayin'…

@TheIrishNinja: I agree that there hasn't been a good name to market, but I loved Revolution before Nintendo decided to go all nar-nar and change it to Wii.

Eeeeee!

Easiest way to tie a bowline is around yourself. You hold the line taut with your left hand, hold the loose end in your right hand, pull it over the taut end, then under, around, and through (you make a loop around your wrist as you do it, which pulls out when you pull the knot through). Three seconds would be a slow

Haha, nice. Something similar happens when you type in "easily deceived", but I won't ruin the fun for people.

If you spent ten minutes talking about your high-ppi screen (it's great, sure, but come on ten minutes?! Yish), you've already failed.

@redwall: They should be previewing it next week. Generally, Apple will preview the next-gen OS at the WWDC following an OS release, then set the release date the next year.

What about a preview of the new Mac OS X? It's been a year since Snow Leopard was released, and Apple usually previews the next generation at WWDC the year after a release, and then sets a release date the next year. I'm a little shocked that you didn't mention it at all. It's the one thing I'm even remotely excited
