My point was it would help you AVOID doing illegal things in front of the cops, since you'd be able to pick them out much easier. See: the Autobahn. Many areas with no speed limits, and yet a much lower accident-per-mile rate than ANY interstate in the US. Why? They enforce behavior laws - tailgating, keep right to pass, etc. If everyone plays nice, nobody causes an accident regardless of speed.
