My dad was a good dad but was more involved in his things than mine. I vowed to not do that with my kids and so I have been the soccer coach and the cub scout leader and the shuttle driver for gymnastics practice. I, too, use yellow dial soap but I also use it for my hair.  Seems to keep it as clean as shampoo and it saves a step.  

There is an Evel Knievel museum in Topeka, KS, that got a hold of Evel’s original semi truck and restored it. They were able to find the guy who painted the original artwork on the side and had him come back to recreate it. They said the restore cost $250,000.

You forget how good that show was the first couple of years.

I didn't take my son to see a game during the Royals series run because the tix were too expensive for the first home games and I figured I would pony up for a game 5 or 6. They didn't come back to KC and now we might not get that chance again.

This is crushing on so many levels. I'm sorry your father lost his life but am glad further abuse was stopped. Incredibly brave of you to stand up for your child and take the proactive steps.

That was a work. No way would Cowherd just sit there and take that from any other guest. 

Canoed and camped in the boundary waters for three days. We paddled in more than 10 miles so we couldn't pack beer or too much heavy stuff. We did 1.75s of cheap vodka and then kool-aid packets. It wasn't pretty but it worked.
