I haven’t seen it since it first came out, and I can’t remember the shirt you are talking about. Do you remember what the shirt says?

The Egyptian govt banned FGM. They’re who receives the money. Unfortunately the bulk of it is military aid, but investing in societies with problems like these is actually a big part of how you solve them. Cutting off aid? That usually makes these types of problems worse.
HE’S STILL NOT BAE YOU GUYZ
Huh.
Honestly, the penalties need to be egregious in order to stop this. Parents should face jail and the loss of custody of all minor children. Medical professionals sshould be stripped of their licenses so they can’t even administer a band- aid.
I just posted about the same story!
NO - we ALL need to speak up. Every woman and every man needs to stand up and speak out that this is a brutal crime and it cannot be tolerated, ever!
The procedures aren’t parallel at all. Abortion is safe, optional, and purposeful. FGM is the exact opposite. The equation only works in the “if I can’t get this legally, I will just get it illegally and it will be a riskier procedure” sense, not if you think of whether it’s justified.
I’m not sure I agree with you on your abortion equation. I think that if parents are held accountable (along with those who perform the procedures) the procedure may fade away. Abortion is something women choose because they are not willing/able (for whatever reason) bring a pregnancy to term. FGM seems like it is…
If you’re culture routinely mutilates women to stop their sexual desires then your culture is, at it’s core, inferior and barbaric.
Please don’t use the word “circumcised” - it’s the word they want you to use to disguise that this is in no way related to male circumcision.
I saw it over the weekend and loved it!! It was very woke. And hilarious. If you are at all inclined toward that sort of movie, definitely go see it. I’ll always have a soft spot for Zefron.
Re: Seth Rogen’s woke-ness. He definitely gets more points for Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, which was a surprisingly feminist film in and of itself (Zac Efron’s character having a feminist awakening was really great to watch), but also feminist in its production. When Rogen realized that he probably was not the best…
So... they’re like permanently trapped in a mid-90s MTV Spring Break show or something? Not that there’s anything wrong with that...
I’ve had a real shitty day.
His breast tissue has more rhythm than my whole body.
So woke and so so bae.
Eternally woke IMHO. And eternally bae!
Can we give Terry Crews an honorary mention or is he considered an eternally woke bae?
Can we get this list in the order of least woke to most woke? Which one takes the spot for wokiest?
