Haha that's funny. I wanted to believe in the best because she was very nice as far as I knew, but when you support and defend a racist then you're only as good as the company you keep.

This is so sadly true. I was watching Larry Wilmore’s show the other week and he had black Trump supporters on because they’re such a rarity and it’s so bizarre to think of people openly supporting someone who openly hates them and it made me realize how the same segment wouldn’t be as shocking if it were female Trump

I think there should be a debate that’s essentially just a middle school quiz on how the US government works and viewers can play along so we can actually get people to understand this basic stuff.

As someone who grew up in this environment and also became an Angry Atheist/Feminist/Liberal while still trapped in the same environment as a kid, my solution was just to argue, argue, argue and pick fights all the time over everything haha. Thankfully I was 13 so I didn’t have a stroke from the frustration and anger.

This is so common among women (especially young girls where its present as the Cool Girl Syndrome) and it makes me so sad. I completely understand where they're coming from though. It would be nice to live in the fantasy world men try to sell us where there is no sexism and feminists make shit up/exaggerate/are big

My mom is a Republican (and goes to Tea Party events to boot) but she’s very feminist. I think she’s mostly just angry and confused and she’s been led to believe everything Fox News says is true so when they say that no no no the RIGHT is the real party for women, the LEFT is the one waging the real War on Women (that

The whole framing women’s issues as a discussion point directed at men is so common and is present on both sides. But at least on the left they apologize for it when they’re called out (like Obama with his whole “wives and daughters” nonsense) and they're, you know, not actively trying to strip our rights away.

It's legal in NYC too and has been for some time but you rarely ever see it except for that one woman who's a topless activist.

I was a baby during the OJ trial so I didn’t know who she was until the American Crime Story came out (even though I’d wiki-ed the OJ trial to death all I knew about her was that she had curly hair and had made critical mistakes in the trial). The “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia” episode blew my fucking mind. We haven't come

I can’t wait for the “thanks, Hillary!” meme to start because it needs to. She's the new boogeyman.

Even his notes to serial killers have ham-fisted overwrought prose.

Haha I hated JLaw before it was cool to hate Jlaw!!!

Hahaha I didn’t want to name-drop especially because we were never really friends (I secretly hated her but I was fake nice to her face... Preteens man) and I haven’t seen her in like 13 years but yeah once upon a time I did know her.

Woooooooow thanks for the share. Admittedly I knew nothing about him before because I was born in the 90s but still. Wow.

I completely agree. I think she should (and knowing her, I’m sure she will) release a statement about it and I really doubt she knew about it to begin with.

Yes, it can, but then why is this article all about her? I’m not dismissing the topic, just commenting on the exhausting trend especially on Jezebel to promote someone as this great savior feminist icon then after months of love gradually tear them down.

There should be a countdown whenever people start loving a female celebrity and putting her on a pedestal to the inevitable day they call her out for something maybe even beyond her control and tear her down. I'm so sick of this same cycle again and again.

It reminds me of this awful rich girl I met at my university who thought she was super edgy and could relate to the poor because she and her friends “were homeless for a day.”

I just want to say I’ve been enjoying your comments so much this election season and I’m always happy to see you in discussions because I’m just nodding along and saying “YES” haha. I feel like I’ve been star-stalking you because I’m always starring everything. I get too frustrated and pissed off to respond to people

I wish the term would only be used to refer to the typical political act of changing your message radically depending on who is listening so no one can actually tell what you’re really for or against. This whole “what you said two decades ago that you disagree with now is what I’m going to hold you to FOREVER”
