Would finalists at the World Series of Poker say "fuck it, we're splitting the pot"? Imagine how ESPN would react?

maybe I should just get you to write all my responses :D

yeah, but it's still pretty creepy. In the original universe, she's the player's daughter. His own flesh and blood. Then suddenly she's the vixen getting a light from him? TOO WEIRD. it's still in people's minds that he's the dad, making dad jokes in some dad jeans.

Now THAT is a spoiler.

The women's bodies in this game aren't mere exaggerations, any more than giant hook-nosed Jews and monkey-lipped Sambo-like depictions of Black people are mere exaggerations. Dudes who don't get why this is a problem need to stop and think about it some more.

I'm sorry you hate that expansion packs no longer exist. Honestly, I feel more ripped off with Mass Effect and Borderlands DLC than I do over others, because they're not full campaigns in and of themselves. You get a few extra missions for $10 a pop, when the original price of the game afforded hundreds of them.

"I just don’t care that much because we made the game we wanted to make. It’s financially successful for the company.”

Wow, what an incredible display of missing the point.

You took your Wii-U camping? Kids these days...

And Wii U has an RFID reader built into the controller - it might be coming. (said with a mixture of shuddering fear and kind of wishing I was a child again)

I'm not sure.

The PS3 had a horrible launch year, but it wasn't getting two more powerful competitors at the end of that horrible year either. I think Nintendo will be fine, but the Wii U could be a short lived system.

Fast and Furious is just fun. They give you cars, action, and explosions. Simple stuff. I don't watch those movies for the story. Sometimes you need that simple stuff so you can just enjoy the movie. Fast and Furious learned that we don't care about the story around Tokyo Drift and gave us everything we wanted after

Not sure of his living arrangements now that Peter Parker is dead and Doctor Octopus has taken over his body, but the think tank in question was one of those ones that will only ever pop up in comic books. During his time there Peter invented a pair of headphones with extremely advanced tech. He got royalties off

I'm really sad that PACIFIC RIM didn't do better in the US, but I'm also unexpectedly sad about WHITE HOUSE DOWN. I enjoyed that film much more than I expected, as a simple, well-made action movie. I would be down with Emmerich going further down that path instead of making awful and unpleasant disaster movies.

...I would not say that. Material costs are still a factor.

In case you are wondering, we decided to cover this story because it falls broadly under the category of "futurism." We consider this crime and this verdict to be signs of things to come.

And there was me hoping for a Preston E. Downes story.

I just want to take this chance to point to the illustrations for the swedish version of HP, which my friend Alvaro Tapia made. One of which is actually lost, since he forgot the original on a train... excellent stuff.

"if Harry Potter went into the public domain after 56 years, maybe then we'd be getting some totally awesome stories about Harry Potter going head-to-head with the Doctor from Doctor Who."
