My PS3 still lives. I live in NYC, but I play it a loooot less in the summer when the fan sounds like it's going crazy.

Oh, I wouldn't watch it. It's stupid through and through, and you'll just be upset by the time you spent on it.
Kurowsawa did lots of great non-samurai films! See Ikiru if you haven't.
I don't think the new Goblin armor was that bad.It was by no means menacing, but I thought the one in Spider-man 1 looked way worse.
It took me forever to find it too. Glad I could help you before they boot yet another web design into the way back machine!
I'm actually OK with this. I don't need to see HYPE HYPE HYPE ever week on the damn thing. It's a vidya game system. We know the price, some games coming out for, the kind of services it'll have, etc. Seems enough for me.
They have that right now from the drop down arrow by the logo. Or do you mean you want the story previews down on the bottom?
It looks like a slightly fancier RSS feed.
That's how it was the before this redesign, wasn't it? Just the sidebar was on the other side and scrollable, which this one isn't. I'm not sure why that is. It seems like if you were going to bring the sidebar back, it'd make sense to make it an ever present, scrollable feed of everything you're subscribed to or…
I feel like I never get enough time to decide if I love the sidebar or love the lack of it.
Now only if the games could control better.
Maybe they can't meet the same success commercially, but they've definitely made some great Pac-Man games since:
Yeah. I'm... I'm not sure why that's up there.
If I recall correctly, he worked in conjunction with Disney because the original ones he made got him in some sort of trouble and they were pulled down. Then he worked for them and made some videos for them, and after his tenure there was over, the old videos came back.
I think this is pretty key to remember. Just look at something like Oblivion & Skyrim to see how much better looking games got within the generation:
Well, video would only be better if he could somehow illustrate it's realtime. Otherwise one could just do something like:
The ambient occlusion is too high on this, so you get some of the darker halos around objects in a way you necessarily shouldn't.
Interior modelling and lighting is still really tricky, so it's not necessarily a bad benchmark. Though you're right in that, where the best sense of how the engine performs is scale.
I think Gursky sort of started that trend (someone with a better knowledge of photography history could help with that) which helped with his fame, and as I mentioned elsewhere, the art world is the sort of thing where once one of your works starts going for a ton, others do as well.
His photos just need to be seen in person to really appreciate the technical skill involved.
