I have a relatively big and expensive ring and the ring pics kind of weird me out too. I showed anyone who asked for a pic after I got engaged, but I didn't put the obligatory picture of the left hand on facebook. I didn't want it to be judged.

Um, I live in Los Angeles. Not Europe. I understand why farmers and landscapers own trucks. I don't understand why I see at least two of these a week, in IMMACULATE shape, without a trailer, no haul and not a single ounce of dirt on it.

Seriously mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, it's great to see them taking this so seriously (although I'm sadly sceptical about there being much real change). On the other hand, I'm against the death penalty and concerned that this whole thing is more about placating the mob than justice.

I hate all these stupid studies, they contradict each other every other year. I feel better if I eat breakfast, I am not a ravenous hyena by lunch eating bacon cheeseburgers. What any of this might mean is unclear, and the survey size is so small as to render any conclusions useless, but I'm going to give my seven-month-old a can of lighter fluid and a steak knife to play with anyway.

Well there's a couple steps you have to take.

So do you dust/scrub/mop/vacuum/wipe down/etc. every square inch of a room every time you clean it? And as soon as that first particle of dust falls, is it no longer clean? Do you spend every second of your life constantly cleaning your house/apartment?
