This person deliberately swerving at you sounds bizarre: they just sound like a random psycho and I'm sorry that they acted like that. All people I see around cycling for commuting or exercise in a situation like what you're describing would just want to overtake and be on their merry way: doing otherwise is kind of

Wow, that's a new one. The motorists say "get off the road", the pedestrians say "get off the sidewalk", they both say "why don't you use a bike path". Now apparently I need to find a bike path that doesn't allow pedestrians on it.

In my experience the only people on shared paths who aren't aware of others around

"See the snake oil debate. Does everyone need to take snake oil? Probably not. If people want to and it's helping them arrive at better health? Who am I to say no?"

The baby on board thing doesn't make much sense if you assume that other drivers behave rationally and considerately. In an ideal world it wouldn't be necessary.

But he's such a dreamboat! It'll be like a romantic comedy where initially he refuses to date black women but through a series of hilarious coincidences he falls in love with one.

How fast does the oncoming traffic have to go before this is void. To take it to the extreme, you can't expect people to drive around on residential streets constantly monitor for cars going 100mph coming out of nowhere.

It's both of their fault. If you're driving well above the speed limit on a residential street, then you're going to have a bad time: people don't expect your closing speed to be so fast, lots of people are turning, lines of sight aren't great.Tear down residential streets expecting everyone to "GEDDAFUGOUTMYWAY"

Good move.

The Romans might want to have a word with you.

Look! That person over there is being an antisocial dickwad, therefore giving me a license to do the same thing.

Kale: like a mix between spinach and broccoli, except worse.

It sounds like the Lambo driver was speeding. Speeding on an urban road with entry from side streets with stop signs is a recipe for this kind of accident, especially if the lines of sight from the side streets are obstructed. Even if the Mazda was somewhat at fault, there's no way the Lambo driver should've been

Because infant mortality was totally lower back then...

But it's so much effort to merge back over.

but but but think of the children!

I don't know why George Washington didn't think of just doing this. Could've saved a lot of effort.
