Totally agree about his motivations. He said in his announcement he wants “a new challenge.” How the fuck is a new challenge going from being a leader of a somewhat-underdog team trying to knock off the big boys (Spurs and Warriors), to being a lesser player on a juggernaut team who doesn’t need you to be able reach

“Sports is just a business” and “He accepted a better job offer” are weak arguments predicated on the silly premise all “businesses” are the same, and that the motivations you and I have are even remotely applicable to an NBA athlete. It’s a silly strawman argument.
