I wouldn't be surprised if we get a mask very briefly.

Or some kind of dystopian future.

I have some bad news for you about new ICE cars.

This seems to require a warrant. In practice I suspect it’ll be just a rubber stamp.

GOTG needed an introduction because no one knew who they were. Well, besides the comics fans, but that’s a tiny audience compared to your average Marvel movie.

Look, at this point everyone knows Superman's origin story. EVERYONE. You can jump into the story just fine without showing it, really, it won't confuse anyone.

I’m guessing it's some kind of metal fatigue failure.

Right? I'm more excited about the Lois casting than Superman.

Wait, what? Why would you do that?

I’m sure all this will give him a great IPO price.

I mean, a lot of them just said “we’ll enforce only Reddit sitewide rules” and no sub-specific rules, thus allowing anything to be posted. They assumed people would start posting NSFW so they marked the subs accordingly. They literally didn't do anything wrong.

Yeah, need more stuff like that.

I missed that one. That's the other part of the problem. It's damn near impossible to find the new stuff on the homepage.

This. We don't need a woman!James Bond. Just give us a bad-ass woman spy. Without the sexy violence of shit like Atomic Blonde.

There are still sci-fi buffs who write and James is forever one of us. I think there’s just a lot fewer writers, and fewer resources. I never did understand why the put io9 under Gizmodo. It feels like there’s a lot fewer posts all over G/o media for some reason (and a steeper drop in quality).

Plenty, but I’m not sure that many, especially once they get an idea just how much work it is to mod a very active community.

Where do they even find 28k mods on short notice.

Yes, people who do unpaid work for Reddit can't have a valid opinion when Reddit makes that work harder.

Reddit relies on content made by users and the unpaid labour of moderators (some 28 000 mods that are involved in the subreddits that have gone dark).

I mean that could have done it on purpose to blame it on the Ukrainians, in order to break the coalition supporting Ukraine. See also: the dam they blew up and are attempting to blame on Ukraine.
