They do, but those companies must follow their non-intrusive, non-harmful guidelines. And then only if you allow the un-intrusive ads (which you can enable/disable in the settings). Which, for me, is fair enough for a free app.

I actually don’t have much of a problem with crapware of this type: I’ve learned to avoid it. it really should all be opt-in rather than opt out. I would also not have any problem with a donate page on the installer as well.
