I've seen the episode, and yes, it pretty clearly states that violence is ugly and does not glorify it. One of the main characters if the show is a man addicted to killing, who's fighting with himself (ex CIA, er... it's complicated).

There is so much wrong with that whole plot. So much! I can't believe they're making a sequel to this.

Tumblr went nuts after the first japanese trailer.

Very true.

Fandom has a collective thing about his hands. I just hang out in the right places. Someone had a good gif of his hand in almost the same position from another movie, but I can't find it.

He has longer fingers than that hand.

Cumberbatch's fingers are much longer and thinner and sort of knobbier. It's not his hand. So: ether a bad hand stand in, or it isn't him.

That isn't Cumberbatch's hand though. So either they picked a really awful hand stand in for that scene or it isn't him.

Oh. Because being a woman is the worst insult for any person, ever.

I don't know if in general, but I thought maybe students who get raped might be willing to get away from a school/culture that isn't very safe for them.

It's also not stated if the rapes actually happened while they were abroad or not.

And you hit the nail on the head.

I think it may have to do with basically tricking a nurse to give up a patient's confidential information. Which would make sense to me.

Didn't she take her gun out?

True, true. But I suspect that in this very specific case, where the invaders border on omniscience, laying low and working trough more subversive means might be more effective.

True, but not particularly effective for their cause, and quite likely to draw some retaliation and tightening of the rules and so on and making their movements around a lot harder.

Windmark being one stooge is not an unlikely conclusion: he had generals (which Peter murdered last episode, but he presumably got new ones) , presumably one of them would step into the leader shoes if Windmark caught a bullet. The Observers seem pretty organised and the follow-orders type. There's no reason to assume

I really hope Peter manages to keep some of his Observerish powers. There's no particular reason why his brain should fully revert to normal. It would be both interesting to watch and useful.

Eh, that takes a level of genre savyness. Plus it may have been her FBI training kicking in a "I'm here to help" - sorta way. She did look wary of the situation. Either way she couldn't ahve run over what looked like a person in the middle of the road.

Yeah, got it, but the first person who tried to explain it was a tad confusing.
