The American Gods series is done by HBO, and Gaiman himself is writing. The whole point of American Gods is the variety of cultures and histories and their clash. Even in Hollywood a 90% white cast would make no sense. Besides I don't think Gaiman would let that slide.

I LOVE Good Omens, but American Gods was really rather disappointing. But with this cast? Neverwhere just landed at the top of my to-read list.

My mistake - there's an American Gods miniseries happening, and a Good Omens movie. But this cast is far too white for any proper American Gods adaptation.
