Yep, Farscape changed that for me as well. Well, I'd actually seen a few moments/episodes and knew it would get good, but getting trough the first part of season one wasn't that easy. Although some of those episodes are quite a lot more awesome on rewatch.

It's just not an episode I've ever felt the need to rewatch. But Chrichton's "OMG!" moments are always awesome.

About 10 minutes, or however long it takes Sherlock to show up in "A Study in Pink". I knew right then I was hooked.

I actually liked the pilot of SG-1. Well, it wasn't great, but it was interesting enough. But in hindsight it looks like it could be the the pilot for a completely different show. It certainly lacked the self aware humour.

Sometimes pilots aren't that good at predicting what's to come. Farscape, for example. The Pilot episode is to this day one of the 3 or 4 episodes I've only watched once, and I'm not sure I would have kept watching if I hadn't seen episodes from other seasons on TV previously. Or SGU - the pilot was absolutely tedious.

Because they opted for "teenage drama of the week" instead of "dinosaur of the week".

On what I first though was a moderate estimate I got 100k communicating civilizations in the galaxy. Yikes! I'm pretty sure I was doing it wrong. A second estimate got me a more seasonable 111.

Firefox just expands to eating up all of my CPU in about an hour or so after I start it. And it's slower to start than Chrome. - this has actually been the first major issue I've had with Chrome.

Actually my flash doesn't crash. It just stutters and eats up all of the CPU when I click fullscreen. Occasionally it stutters on the small version as well.

UGH. This guy is an idiot and I get mad every time I stumble upon this today. I assume he also believes it's not really rape if women orgasm.

Exactly. I wish Chrome would fix this already it's been weeks.
