They could go the surrogate route at least, correct? Completely agree on your sentiments about it...it's heartbreaking that so many children need homes, so many parents want children, but yet they're both denied for some dumb reasons.

What's really sad is if she got pregnant now, she'd be able to keep the child, but having suffered brain damage she'd probably never be cleared to adopt. The system is so ridiculous.
