Will the corpse of this site linger like Gawker.com? Also, what do you think they’ll call the next one?

Thank you. I sometimes feel like I get way too long but when I love something I want to talk about it. It’s nice to know someone actually reads it.

Haha. Hahaha. I’m a weird, mostly lurker that came to Splinter at least once an hour, and probably more during Gawker’s heyday. And now I can’t keep from ghouling around its corpse :(

The last post. 😢

Nope, Bad Janet is incapable of being kind without having her face melt off.

The name “Michael” means “One like God.”

Where is the Commentariat heading next? I’ll miss reading all of you guys’ cogent comments, witty retorts and punny bon mots. Reply in the comments

I know it’s over yet the urge to come here after every breaking story notification persists. Splinter News, my phantom limb.

But hasn’t the show already established that Bad Janets are incapable of impersonating Good Janets?

Shit, it was good while it lasted. Shout out to everyone, and for the 7 or so who’ve lost your jobs, fuck G/O media...

here’s to her reunion with Shell Turtlestein.

his immediate crumple back into anxiety was amazing. the expressions on WJH’s face were just so great, and then the “...tea” line. I cackled.

Easily my favorite of the season so far, mostly because we got back to Chidi in stressed mode, which is still the best. Favorite William Jackson Harper line reading this week was his weak “Tea. I was going to offer you some tea.”

It’s Glenn. The guy on the thing. Calling it now. He was listed in the credits, but not in the episode. He’s the guy at the end.

I’m surprised that Jason is actually being an effective secret agent and not blowing his cover to Chidi. Or I guess, blowing his cover as Jianyu but not blowing his cover as a Jason Chidi’s never met.

You know, that reminds me of a historical tour I took of my town once. Some of the older building have little plaques on them with the names of private fire departments. A few of them have two or even three of them with different names. Apparently, when the town was built, there was no public fire department and you
