Haha. Hahaha. I’m a weird, mostly lurker that came to Splinter at least once an hour, and probably more during Gawker’s heyday. And now I can’t keep from ghouling around its corpse :(

I know it’s over yet the urge to come here after every breaking story notification persists. Splinter News, my phantom limb.
Paul Maidment, G/O Media’s editorial director, said that the site wasn’t performing well enough and that all 7 employees would be moved to other sites. It has become apparent that neither is the case and staff have been laid off. Management is now circling the wagons.
But hasn’t the show already established that Bad Janets are incapable of impersonating Good Janets?
