One of these things is not like the other. Look, I have no illusions about the fact that, say, Jerry Jones and I would ever be friends with one another. Our histories are different, our lives are different, and our outlooks are different. And to be blunt, I’m a prickly bastard with a radioactive spike ball of defense

Shut up, Tomato.

Well, I can but I hadn’t until you said something. And now I did.

Knowing that my dad agrees with everything Trump does and says, I wish I would have known that repeating a lie over and over again would absolve me of any wrongdoing growing up.

I believe the show could do a much better job fleshing this out. If you were to tell a bunch of non-meta Americans that some little country was planning an invasion, we’d say they can pay for the Taco Bell when they arrive and if it were a big country, I’m pretty sure a huge segment would yell “Red Dawn,

It’s extraordinarily relevant that the official in charge of “oversee[ing] the use of public land, including environmental protections as well as oil and gas development” believes that global warming is not real and that environmentalism = communism. This isn’t the office crank at a paper company not believing in the

has cast doubt on climate change and made xenophobic comments,

Black Lightning continues to have the best and least over-used soundtrack on television.  The music on this show never fails to amaze me.

Cheeto Mussolini and Agolf Shitler are currently my favorites.

Several guys traveled from Louisiana for a drug deal, fucked it up, and just happened to kill the star witness to police corruption before he could testify against any more cops?  I don’t buy it for one second.

The criminal trial testimony only dealt with one police officer they thought was going to walk. The estate’s civil trial was going to expose any and all police officer that did anything to cover up the murder. They didn’t want him to testify.  And, without Brown, the family is more likely to settle without getting to

Is this bastard really out of the greys, or is someone constantly pulling his vapid “I’m smarter than the dumb liberals on Splinter” posts out of the greys?

HAHAHAHAH... I dont even believe that.

You’ve seen The Wire, right?  Or just watched the first episode?  They murder a witness who testified after trial even though the guy he testified against got off.  Just because he had testified already doesn’t mean someone won’t retaliate.  I still think a lot of this “oh the cops killed him” theories are out there,

Yeah, like pretty much half the internet I’m pretty bloody skeptical. So someone who was a fairly important witness in a trial against a cop was an active drug dealer and that didn’t come up? The idea that he’d draw attention to himself like that is pretty farcical, let alone that there were no tips about his supposed

Doubtful. Brown knew he was in danger and that he was worried about police retaliation— and expressed as much to his attorney. No one would participate in a multi-state drug deal in those circumstances. Especially if he knew to what extent the police went to stalk and imprison the man that recorded the Garner murder.

I’m slow so I’m gonna need some help. Is that a reference to Jimmy Olsen?

Welcome back, Black Lightning. Nice job keeping the knives sharp during the off-season, that cold open was extra good.
