The French attack goes through Griezmann. He plays better with Giroud. Unless Lacazette grows 4" and becomes a center forward, he’s not going to get in the squad ahead of Giroud and his chances will be limited.

Griezmann is preferred to Lacazette. Giroud is not preferred to Lacazette. They are all forwards but they play different roles in the French attack. I think that nuance is lost on you.
