Having just being diagnosed with my second ACL tear... this is good to see.

My favorite thing is that all he was running from was a routine stop.

A clickthrough revealed it's actually 10,000 square METERS.

10,000 square feet? That's 100x100. Which is less than a city block.

I'm loyal to my brand with cars, scotch, and breakfast cereal. Does anything else really matter?

Hello, fellow Portlander! I was down there early on (not to occupy, just to check it out and chat), prior to any mayoral sanctioned smoking, and I can confidently say that the weed's been there as long as the bongos.

I don't think that either is harder than the other, but that if you want to achieve one, it will be (to some degree) at the expense of the other. The vast majority of careers in this country require that you work long hours without being very active. And of course, healthy eating gets harder the busier you are.

Completely true about the water cooled VW crowd- worst with the MKIVs. I still don't understand why someone would want less ground clearance on an already fairly low car. However, now that mine is gone, I kind of miss the community... if only because it made finding aftermarket/used parts and DIY tutorials so damn

The Leaf. Here in Portland I'm starting to see a fair number of them, and I've been really astounded at how random and inattentive the drivers seem to be. Maybe it's actually a function of the unique drive train, or maybe it's the type of driver attracted to such a vehicle.

Wow, way to make me regret not buying that E46.

Firstly: That BMW concept drawing manages to encapsulte and exaggerate basically every hateful design trend that's currently inflicting new cars.

Uhh, when I moved out here I didn't have that problem at all. The counter crew were even very nice when even though I was 21 at the time. They either forgot or were nice enough not to charge me the under 25 premium. I had an eternal wait in the garage but eventually a manager came around and apologetically gave me an

I don't think it's unreasonable to pass people over for promotion/raises who seem to be chronically sick. It sounds harsh and I would never have said it a few months ago, but it's started to become a real problem at my workplace. It's actually two men and a woman, so I don't see a gender component to it, but good lord

Seriously?

Yeah, there were like two weeks when I had to sample every freakin kind of condom because nothing quite fit right. And then I remembered the internet. And then my giant sack of 500 perfectly-sized condoms showed up at my doorstep. Thanks, Amazon Prime!

Coal and natural gas power plants have much higher thermal efficiency.. you get two or three times as much energy out of a unit of carbon output from a large power plant as compared to a small internal combustion engine.

In my experience I can (if I try) beat EPA by as much as 5mpg with a stick, while I'm generally unable to coax anything better than the rated mileage out of a modern auto. Have you observed this as well?

Watched the 2:40 version recently... need to pick up the shorter version so that the girlfriend can be talked into watching it with me. Damn what a fine movie. The scenes from the Brazilian Gran Prix were stunning.

Interesting! Personally I love the 3-6-9, I just rest my hand to one side of the bottom spoke. Audi/VW's are amazing. That one looks a little dumb.
