I bet she was worried it would end up in their garage otherwise

She wanted to keep him out of the clubs...

Statistically speaking, anybody who is above ground at 90 is doing great for their age.

FICO scores do nothing to perpetuate a wealth gap. People spending money that they don’t have perpetuates the wealth gap.

Ford Wants More People To Suck Dry

The issue with longer loans is the part where you get upside down on the loan, and the longer the loan the longer you’re upside down. So 0% is great, but if in a year something happens and you need to sell your car, it’s worth less than what you owe on the loan.

I’m trying to (slowly) convert my Suzuki Bandit into more of an ADV capable bike and I DD a Kia Soul. I am their target audience haha!!

All the new to camping people (covid) have been trashing the wilderness camping areas. In the Boundary waters canoe area wilderness the campsites have been vandalized and filled with trash and “people” have cut down loads of trees to “improve their vide” of the lakes.

Amen to this. Here in CA, the BLM just closed off the majority of the Alabama Hills area to dispersed camping. For the unaware, Alabama Hills is used in many movies (Iron Man most recently) and is very popular with the vanlife/influencer crowd. The uneducated and just plain stupid have been showing up in droves to

Please do some stories on tread lightly and other ways to use and protect trails and access. Nubes can easily ruin it for those who are responsible users of outdoor resources.

Motorcycle stuff? You guys are still quite light on that content.

Learning that the train’s damage was mostly from vandalism and not from sitting was the saddest part. Images as recent as 2019 show it to be in mostly complete condition. Apparently, it gained some unfortunate popularity after people on social media posted its coordinates.

...the locomotive first served on the Reading Railroad out of Pennsylvania before getting shipped off to Arizona.

Any locale that uses the term “steamed hams”.

We pinned the shift linkage back together with nails bent to whatever shape we could manage... also actual baling wire to fix the exhaust hangers.

Glad to see someone else here with the sense to know that “affiliated with a Bible camp” = sketchy, untrustworthy, they’re likely to fuck you metaphorically (at the very least).

My first car was a ‘66 Valiant 100 with a Slant-6 and the 3-on-the-tree. Mine was even that same shade of blue. It really was a little old lady car with fewer than 65,000 miles when I bought it. I found out it would do 100mph, but that was definitely it. It was the definition of basic. Manual windows, locks, steering,
