This deal was worked and approved by the Trump admin’s USPS Board and finalized 31 days into the Biden administration.

“The Biden administration”

I can offer one possible explanation:

which begs the question: “Why the hell are these not EVs then?” it’s literally the perfect use case for EVs since idling does not waste energy like it does in an ICE.

Haven’t looked up the numbers myself, but apparently the new mail truck can carry twice the weight of the old LLV.
Fully loaded it would be considerably more economical.
I reckon that if you would limit the power to the 90ish hp of the LLV, that you’d also get much better fuel economy.

That said: WHY THE FUCK DOES A

Tesla Model 3. It has some weird halo effect despite being ugly and having a bargain basement interior... And that’s before getting into the quality issues. It drives fine, it’s fast, and electric... But since when does that get it a free pass when it also costs $50k?

No Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 on the list ?? Seriously ???

There isn’t a single vehicle on this list that I consider to be “overrated.” Each one deserves all of the acclaim that they’ve gotten. For Tesla, “it’s cheap, you don’t get enough, the design is too basic” are the same gripes that Americans with mullets claimed about BMW in the 80s. It sounded foolish then and it

Overrated is just not a good term. “I do not like this” is better. When a billion of whatever is sold it has been rated and it was rated well. For instance “the beatles are over rated”. No they have been rated as a MASIVE success and are wildly popular to this day. However saying “I do not like the beatles music” is

Reminds me of an Eagle Premier

I really hope this hints at the prospect of boxier designs making a comeback. It feels like it’s about time for nostalgia to kick in and the market shows some interest.

If they’d sell it, I would buy this car over 100% of Hyundai’s other offerings.

thats a 300D not a TD, TD came with rims. D with hubcaps.

The MKV was the best GTI and everything since then has largely been down hill. The MKVI was decent, but the lighter colours with the black and red nose just screamed character.

I own a 300TD, but let me tell you, there’s some truth to them being overrated. I love the car, but the community is an extreme version of that feature of every model-specific group. They think they’ve found The Best Car, and that makes them smarter than everybody else.

I don’t get the style of answer where the ‘overrated’ is based on how cars 50 years later are better.

Probably the most beautiful sedan ever made. And I say probably and not definitely because the E38 is right up there.

Vancouver, WA is in the United States. Vancouver, BC is in Canada. Vancouver Island is also in Canada but Vancouver, BC is not on Vancouver Island but you can take a ferry there, from Vancouver, BC. Which is in Canada. Vancouver is in Washington, but not DC. You can drive over a bridge to get to Vancouver, from

Yes, except the ‘grid pattern’ in Seattle was actually 3 different patterns stacked north to south on top of each other. With the some of them not aligning with north (one was implemented by a known drunk). With diagonal streets like Denny way where the plans meet. Seattle also has nice ‘baroque’ edges also that cut
