Adding Dr. Mario is of less value than taking the time to add a unique character, even if the latter requires more effort. You made the claim that adding him took little effort but added non-negligible value.

Wolf's attacks and specials are all different from Fox's. Everything from Falco is a direct copy, save the laser's stunlag.

Why not just make a 10,000 character roster where every character is a Mario variant?
