The speculation isn’t but the explanation will be. For instance, if something outlandish like “Luigi is Peach’s father” is put forth, the explanation will all be relating to DNA/Genetics, etc. And it’ll be based on actual science. Nah. There is a pretty clear attempt within the new Doom to tell a story. The only questions are whether it is intended to tie to previous games and, if so, which ones.
