Now, now, it’s also possible that the project will merely fade into obscurity, as updates becoming further and further apart, eventually stopping entirely.
I see what you’re getting at, I think the character focus was a large part of the MCU’s success, though I think the other part of that is the way these crossover films allow us to see already established characters play off of each other in a fun way. The reason Avengers worked so well for me was because, rather than…
Yeah, that’s what I’d credit the success to. The internet loves Deadpool, and the marketing machine has been going hard for this one.
Taken King was awesome, don’t be crazy.
Once upon a time, some things happened, the end.
The NPC storylines in Bloodborne were also pretty poor. The most interesting one was seeing Alfred go insane, but even that didn’t feel like it had a great conclusion.
I think the biggest reason for that was simply that there was more stuff in Dark Souls to get lore out of. The removal of boss souls, far less loot, etc. Meant there’s a lot less text in the game. They needed like 100 of those lore notes, not like twelve.
*Sigh* I’m sorry. I’ve been having a bad day, and I lost my temper with a random internet person who turn out to be you, which was rude and unfair. Sick burn! You sure proved to me that you’re not just a troll.
What’s wrong with interpretation, exactly? I see this all the time, just because From Software is telling the story in a non-traditional way, that somehow makes it bad. Was Journey bad storytelling because it didn’t spell everything out for the player? Bloodborne, and Dark Souls for that matter, have a lot more…
Nothing I can say will change your mind, you don’t actually want answers to those questions, you just want to tell people that thing they like is bad. So, whatever, cool, I guess, it’s totally gibberish bro.
you didn’t pay attention =/= it didn’t have a story
Seek paleblood to transcend the hunt.
Yes.
I did the audiobook as well, actually. It’s a really good reading.
I went through it a few weeks ago, and was really hooked. It’s an excellent read.
Adam Jensen and Aiden might as well be wearing the same thing, yet Jensen was bashed, and Aiden was praised, proving that fashion is dumb.
HAH, I didn’t know he showed up in the New 52.
