I went ahead and grabbed it. At $7.50, I can't really go too wrong, and I've been considering it since it came out last year.

So, I love (the good) DC Comics, but my fighting game experience is limited to Smash Bros. Worth a try at the $8 price point?

Sure, that's fine, different strokes for different folks and all that, I just feel like the memetic difficulty it's attained (and I do know a lot of people who view it that way exclusively) has turned a lot of people off to the game, even when they might enjoy it. I know I felt that way. I had no interest in the Souls

I dunno, even going into Dark Souls 2 and being pretty good at Dark Souls (not master level, but pretty good), it's certainly not an easy game. I do think it's unfortunate that Dark Souls has earned this reputation of being "the hardest thing evarrrrr," because it deserves so much better than that.

If they're really going for a Dark Souls inspiration, permadeath seems like an extremely poor choice. In some games, it makes sense, but with a game as long and large as Dark Souls, and one where death is basically just another mechanic, it seems like a bad idea.

I'm thinking of playing some Dark Souls, followed up with some Dark Souls, and then close the month out with some Dark Souls.

Yeah, I imagine those controls would have been pretty cool. If they had worked for me. Which they didn't.

Ugggh I haven't made it there yet, and now I have something to not look forward to.

I never doubted. Not for a second.

I'd say it wouldn't make sense for the Frog Fractions 2 viral marketing to have started ~4 years before Frog Fractions was released, but actually, since we're talking about Frog Fractions, that would make perfect sense.

I like Titanic. It's a different beast from, say, the Terminator franchise, but it's still a good movie.

Oh, hey, you're the fishing guy! I keep seeing your posts on /r/elderscrollsonline. Fishing seems terrible, is fishing terrible?

I think part of it is that the game really doesn't give off the best first impression. The Coldharbor tutorial is pretty bad, and the initial islands are an improvement, but the game doesn't really start opening up (and therefore showing its best) until around level 6, when you get to the first big zone (Auridon, in

I just found/switched to this lovely wallpaper last night.

I'm just going to copy-paste a comment I made over on Reddit about my opinion of the game.

That's funny, because I can't go anywhere online any more without seeing this exact comment. Also, most (all?) of these are not about zombies.

I explicitly said comedy isn't only derived from the unexpected. I just said that's a large part of it.

I haven't watched the video, but I'm going to throw a guess out here. Comedy is (in large part, though not exclusively) based on the unexpected. Once a meme, even a genuinely funny one, has reached such saturation that it's being posted in response to every situation, it's no longer unexpected, and thus no longer

He's been making games since I was -6.
