Edible wild greens will make excellent pesto when young. Anybody with a yard has a ton of stuff that is edible that usually just gets mowed. Or, you could plant some kale seeds. Scatter them, for that matter. They’ll grow in the lawn, too.

Or maybe it’s the level of maturity they had at the age they became famous, even worse.
Plus, naming his child after a cartoon character.
Donald Trump throwing paper towels in Puerto Rico.
My big groups of friends used to just pass the check around and we’d all read it and make our contributions. Then someone would add it up and sometimes have to request a few dollars more. But our self-accounting was usually pretty close. I say used to because I seldom go out to eat any more.
Where does it show how much we spend in subsidies for companies that refuse to act in the best interests of the country and its people or the world and its people?
Giving it to rich fucks who don’t pay anything. Thanks for asking.

As a former fat person, I’m skeptical of these studies. I thought set point was disproved. I know for sure that typical approaches to dieting don’t work. You can’t cut down and be hungry. It’s horrible. You have to change your eating habits entirely and they have to stay changed. No more processed foods and carb-heavy…
I can’t help thinking of the 9/11 responders, all the firemen who went bravely into the towers never to return. Let’s not expect that from people.
And seriously high-fiber breakfast cereal.

I see this with someone I know whose son is “on the spectrum.” He seems perfectly normal to everyone. Every little kid isn’t just like every other little kid. They develop individually. Unfortunately, our educational system doesn’t really account for that in all cases.
They don’t see the risk of death as being as great as the risk of autism, because we see so much autism nowadays, and, thanks to vaccines, so little death from those illnesses. They fear the wrong thing.
I agree. I get the flu vaccine even though it makes me feel like shit for a couple of weeks. I haven’t gotten sick during that time, but some people do, and it sets them against flu vaccines. It makes me realize that vaccines affect the immune system until the body adjusts by providing immunity. I also had Lyme…
Counterpoint: I work with an elderly man who weighs 350+ lbs and needs knee replacement surgery. After several consultations with different surgeons, one mentioned that the surgery and recovery would be easier if he could possibly lose weight first. My co-worker was astounded, first, that this was true and second,…
I think second-guessing doctors is a good thing because of their blind spots. The hysteria around vaccines is due to the frightening rise of autism. It terrifies parents, and with good reason, but scapegoating vaccines is just stupid. In all likelihood, it’s glyphosphate and other Monsanto, et al, poisons that are…
Another complete idiot heard from.
Ok, first I read this as an event at the Pizza.
Neither of them, Bill or Hillary, is going to go away quietly. They have major entitlement issues. I’m terrified that Hillary is going to run again and give us Cheetolini, the sequel.
