Home fries!

Although, the recent Atlantic article made the good point that by buying leather items, people make slaughtering animals more profitable. That would be for those of us who think in terms of not wasting any of the animal after killing it. We’re helping the meat industry’s profits. So I guess the only justification for

Yes, I know people who do this.

They are, actually. Most leather comes from animals slaughtered for food, including aging dairy cows that aren’t giving enough milk.

I’ve only ever seen one 60-ish woman cleaning in a hotel I stayed in. I told her only to clean my room twice that week, mid-week and after I left. She was very happy and thanked me, which tells me she was not paid by the room, as the article suggests. I also left her a tip and some socks I had just bought that did not

Thanks, I’m probably over-stressing about it.

The wife of a co-worker is trying to get me to help her with a project not in my wheelhouse. It’s in a related wheelhouse, so I guess she’s hoping I’ll pull a rabbit out of my ass or something. She’s already dropped in on me at work and wasted an hour of my time pitching it. Now she’s “reaching out” and hopes we can

I’ve been agreeing with this for the past ten years. Haven’t eaten out much unless something paid for by work.

Yes, I meant innocent men who had no credible defense. The brothers have a credible defense, so I wasn’t thinking of them as being in danger. Maybe they are, idk.

Imagine if they had arrested some random dudes. I don’t want to think he would have sent innocent men to jail.

And racist. But somehow I think poverty is more stressful than success.

“Reasonable amounts” is the key. Sugar, salt and fat are all necessary nutrients. Artificial ingredients are unnecessary, even in harmless amounts.

They actually die young, too, likely from malnutrition. I’ve known two women who were skinny like that who died in their early 50s.

There is actually something inherently wrong with putting artificial substances in your body. Our bodies didn’t evolve to process inedible chemical additives. They tax the liver and other organs more than reasonable amounts of sugars.

They’re called packing peanuts.

Yes, but how many Republicans died of stroke while Obama was president?

Coke is evil, but diet Vanilla Coke was delish.

Several carbonated glasses of chemicals a day are bad for you, and we need studies to establish this. SMH.

It would make more sense for them to invest in jobs. Otherwise, even if you move there with kids, your kids are going to leave, too, eventually. And do you really want to be poor/struggling and raising kids in a rural environment, even if Italian? They don’t want retirees, apparently. Most young families need jobs.

Another man who got his ass burned because of a “female” in the break room!!
