Infact, scrap all of that, it seems to be done all in one cut. Just sped up.

The finger GIF will have been stabilized to a point using a compositing program such as After Effects, or NUKE. The tracker point is positioned to a point of contast (the finger tip) and the program is left to track that point for the duration of the clip. There will be some hand tracking to do (where the girl passes

This isn't Barely Political, it's the Gregory Brothers. I've found that Barely Political like uploading low quality copies of the GB's work. Still, very nice none the less.

Seems they are limiting keys to users who have contributed a highly rated item to the workshop already, that means people who don't already have a tf2 related item in the workshop aren't likely to get a copy of SFM until further down the line..

Now playing

Yeah... No... Swing and a miss with this one.

People who love a font don't know much about typography, people who hate a font know even less about typography.

I'm almost positive that Gawker are tapped into my youtube favourites list, as soon as I favourite a video, a week later it's posted on one of their sites. Still a good video though.

They don't go particularly long to be honesst. In most UK home stores (It's called B&Q here) they go from 30cm to 50cm so there aren't many different lengths, they tend to go in 5cm increments.

Here in the UK you can get various lengths of runners, my rig allows me to change the drawer runners to different sizes. It does only work for smaller subjects, but upgrading the length can mean larger subjects. I built mine for a Tenner. (£10) but that was including some stuff I had at home. But it's a lot cheaper

Drawer runners also do a good job of it too. Less freedom but probably works smoother. I built a rig with mine which can be aded to a tripod and rotated in various angles.

Okay. I need to say this.

...that's just fine. I wasn't planning on going outside today anyway.

That's insane.. did you also know that if you go down to any home depot store they have glass ones too?! Crazy world we live in...

It all seems very Windows 98-ish.. Call me old fashioned but I just want my icons to appear as fast as possible. In my line of work I need a fast moving workflow, and waiting for icons to move into place before I can use them just makes me cringe.

Dec 23rd anyone?

I never owned a cool person card. WHAT A TWIST!!

Stop drinking coffee. Problem solved.

As an unrelated note, I'm so happy to see that Rhode Island Coffee got a mention in the photo. It's a very very small coffee chain in the UK, only around 6 stores spread out, but the tea there, holy shit. They run their own tea-picking company and it's out of this world.
