Well there's a non-Apple option that does everything else for less money, so I played it safe (although when the second generation was released, that might not have been the case). About the only other unique "feature" would be Apple's fantastic (in my experience) support - they replaced one of ours that was damaged

Vote: Apple TV

Our extended family meals end up with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and omnivore dishes. It works well for us now, but it'll be interesting once our kids are old enough to start questioning things.

Now if it could determine which device is currently in use and push the notifications in the background to everything else, that'd be fantastic (eg. currently using a tablet, notification goes to phone + tablet, but only tablet makes a sound/vibrates).

I used to pick my son up from daycare on my bike with a front mounted seat for him. This was his exact face for the entire 3 mile ride home. Now he's too big for it, so I guess I'll have to convince the wife to let me get an S2000 when our CRV finally dies.

This was one of the key reasons I kept my room so clean in college. The other was having garbage and recycling containers in every room.

I've been walking to the grocery store and that's definitely helped curb spending. That impulse buy had better be awesome to be worth carrying 3/4 mile home. Although it does suck when watermelon's on the list.

Great timing. I'm going to Chicago for a soccer tournament next weekend as the assistant coach. Really not looking forward to forced awkward interaction with the parents. It'll definitely be challenging, especially since the head coach is extremely extroverted.

I was going through the same thing last year. Once the snow came, I stopped biking and used my lunch break to get a quick workout in every day (skipping lunch). I'm still fasting throughout the day, but now I'm biking again. So far, so good. Weight is exactly where I want it to be, strength is increasing, PR's are

I have a waterproof compression bag that fits nicely inside my biking pack. Frees up a ton of room, which is perfect for this time of year when I might want to wear tights and gloves in the morning, but need a place to store them for the ride home.

I'd use bath crayons to document my brilliant shower ideas in college. Worked like a charm.

As long as you're not the only one at the gym, there's a good chance someone else there is in the exact same situation.

Mrs Zorlox has different cleaning standards than I do. She's not as bad as her mother, so that's a plus (I'm sure her parents spend several hundreds of dollars every month on electricity - between 4-5 loads of laundry per day, multiple home theaters, and lights/tv's constantly left on, so our electric bill looks tiny

Yeah, I'm not talking about anything with too much funk-potential. Just wanting a place for casual Friday's jeans in case I want to wear them on Saturday or Sunday. We have a few hooks in the laundry room that I've been using for running/biking gear. I bought a basket this weekend so we'll see how well it works (it's

My wife insists on washing everything that's not hanging up or in a drawer. Maybe this weekend I'll finally break down and get another couple laundry baskets for "worn, but not dirty/smelly" clothes. So far, this isn't really an issue for clothing, but it seems like our bedding wears out much more quickly than it

My son loves it. He's gotten really good at picking out ripe apples and has already tried 3-4 different kinds. Other grocery stores have similar things (free cookies usually).

Mine hasn't figured out what a knife is useful for. He'll try to pick up food with it (like a spoon) and ends up getting frustrated and making a mess - it's one of those hilarious parenting moments that you can't laugh at for fear they'll keep doing it intentionally.

Our Whole Foods has a kids club program that lets children have a free apple or banana whenever they come in, so no.

To me, this seems to be children mimicking their environment. Dad drinks beer and yells at the tv while eating drumsticks, kid acts in a similar manner.

I use linkedin pretty regularly, mostly to see if there are any interesting discussions in a couple groups I belong to. The most annoying thing, for me, is the group discussion being sorted by what an algorithm determines is important versus the time it was created.
