Couldn't agree more. I run with our two labs every day after work and we (me, dogs, wife) all love it. Bonus: they don't care about the weather so you lose that excuse not to go out.

Had no idea it was that slow of a process, thanks!
I've got a pretty worthless laptop sitting at home collecting dust. How about a how-to to set it up for mining? I could maybe get $250 if I sold the computer, so I'd be better off if I could mine a single coin.
We use our cast iron skillet once a week or so - I use a dough scraper and some oil to scrape it smooth most times, then once a month I'll actually use the salt method. Saves a fair amount of salt and paper towels.
These are dumb ideas. I'd make google street view apply to people - search for me on Google, it comes up with contact info, facebook profile, etc and a map of my location. Click on the map to see where I am, zoom in to street view level and see what I see! The totally creepy future, powered by Google. #ifihadglass
The main advantage I see is the watch could have the cellular data connection, everything else (phone, tablet, glasses, etc) could just tether to it.
Notification syncing across devices. Facebook sends a notification to my iPhone and iPad, I check it out on my iPad but its still there waiting for me on my phone. Super annoying.
We subscribe to the rss feeds from the newspaper and a couple local networks to avoid having to watch it on TV. For weather, you can sign up for text message alerts if you want, but I like Intellicast's app better.
Too much wasted space shrinking iOS down, it'd make more sense to use a modified version of the iPod Nano OS.
I had it happen in college while running on a paved 5k path around a lake. When I realized I had no idea how many laps I had done, I knew I just did something awesome - and that I'd be unbelievably sore the next day.
I think you mixed up 'breed' with 'breathe' in your second sentence; however, reading as though that wasn't a mistake was oddly amusing :)
That's exactly what I'm going for. I've done it a few times unintentionally and ended up covering a half mile or so without noticing - I'd love to hone that ability so I can do it whenever I want and for however long I choose.
Excellent timing - I've been interested in learning to meditate while running. Now that the weather's warming up, I'm ready to have a go at it. Any tips for meditation while on the move?
That's quite the response. Since my children will undoubtedly be ginger, your basement scenario is appealing.
I like that last line a lot. We've agreed to do a vegan day and vegetarian day each week - maybe the other days it'll be as simple as a giant salad and whatever fruit & veggies are in season as the animal-free options.
Any tips on raising kids when you and your spouse have different dietary views?
I'm a runner, my wife is not. She just recently (a week ago) decided she wanted to run a 5k; she'd ask if she wanted my help, so I'm doing my best to stay quiet. I condensed all the advice I can think of into these 3 tips for her:
Minnesota winters are very discouraging to runners. We've had several days with windchills below -10F, many sidewalks are still covered in packed snow/ice, and it'll be dark by 6. I still go out and run every day, but that's mostly because I'm nuts. And my dogs love it.
I'm still holding out for the Galaxy S i, it's specs are unreal.
They're launching on Pi day and not calling it the S ∏? Missed opportunity Samsumg.
